    Hello @dantediego

This error could be caused by an issue that occurred during onboarding. I would suggest you start by disconnect your account from the plugin and onboarding the plugin once more by using the connect wizard (blue button “Activate PayPal”).

This should correct the error in Connecting to PayPal with API keys that you are seeing. Please try this and let me know if this resolved the issue.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

I uninstalled and installed following the activate button, it still gives me the error “Could not create token.”

    Advice?

    Hello @dantediego

Sorry that I didn’t see this the first time: when I go through the checkout and select the PayPal option, I am seeing that the WooCommerce button is not getting replaced by the PayPal button: the button remains the same when the PayPal option is selected.

This can never work: the PayPal payment method requires the PayPal button in order to successfully perform the payment. Can you please check your website why this is happening?

You may want to perform a full conflict test to rule out eventual issues with the theme or a different plugin. We recommend temporarily activating the default theme Storefront and disabling all other plugins except for WooCommerce and PayPal Payments to see if the behavior persists.

Here’s a guide that explains the steps in more detail: How to test for conflicts

Please let us know how this works out for you.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

Hi, the problem hasn’t been fixed yet, I have done the required tests, not by providing you with the credentials, can you help me?

    Hello @dantediego

If the PayPal button is showing up on the cart and product pages, but not on the checkout page, then the issue is most likely caused by the checkout page. I would expect that you are using a none-standard checkout page (generated by another plugin, page builder or theme) and that this checkout page is not using the standardized WooCommerce Short Codes (https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/).

In order to validate this theory, I ask you to create a new page (just for testing) and only add the short code [woocommerce_checkout]. When you preview this page, it should show the PayPal button when you have activated the payment method on the checkout page.

Please try this and let me know if it does.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
