    I installed the plugin and linked to paypal.

    When someone attempts to buy an item, they go through the process and when it’s time to checkout, the error message is Could Not Create Token.

    So, the purchase fails.

    What could the problem be caused by?

    this does sound like a known issue we have encountered and are working on fixing, but in order to know for sure, we would like to get your system report and the logs from the plugin to see what is happening. If you have a staging site available for us to take a look at your setup, that would also be very beneficial for us to check your site and confirm any issues.

    We are investigating this issue and hope to have a fix for this soon, but it will still take some time before this would be released (next release v.1.6.0 will not contain it).

    If you are not using vaulting (subscriptions) you could deactivate it, this should avoid this error from occurring. If this does not help, you can deactivate card processing in order for the standard credit card payment option from PayPal to activate.

    Hello there,
    we’re actually dealing with the exact same issue. Everything up to date, but nothing helps. Any ideas where to look? We don’t have vaulting active.
