Could not connect to mail poet server

  • I am really not amused…There is still this error massage, when people want to subscribe to the newsletter :Could not connect to mail poet server.

    WHY is it not possible to solve this??

    bisher gab nur ankündingen aber der Fehler besteht nach wie vor.
    Ich bezahle für Faacebook Werbung und bekomme st?ndig KOmmentare, das die Anmeldung nicht funktioniert. DAs ist leider mehr als ?rgerlich.

    Isn’t there anybody else with this problem?

    I think the problem occures, when people are using a mobile Browser.
    Any suggestions?

    So sorry you’re having issues! Let’s get it sorted out so your users cans subscribe.

    The mobile browser is a great clue, is this something you’ve been able to replicate on your end? Is there a link we can try in our mobile testing lab?

    Sometimes it works, sometime it doesn’t.

    Perhaps it is a caching Problem ( i use WPSupercahe) but only with mobile browsers…

    Hey there @hkruse!

    You’ll want to exclude that page from caching then everything should work correctly.

    In WP Super Cache head to “Advanced >> Accepted Filenames & Rejected URIs” and input: /newsletter-gewinnspiel/

    Did this work? I am experiencing the same issue. Users cannot subscribe to newsletter because I am getting an error message (401 error in console). This is happening only on Mailpoet 3, not 2. And on desktop.
