Am I missing something? I created a bucket but it’s telling me it does not exist.
I followed all your instructions, creating the account adn pasting the json data in the textarea. After saving it just tells me that it could not connect.

Hope you’re still watching over this plugin, it’s a great one!

  • I initially had the same issue. However, I noticed the bucket name had the following appended to the name: appspot.com. Once I added that to the name given in the plugin bucket name, it connected.

so for example if you had a bucked named donaldduck you’d write donaldduck.appspot.com in the plugin settings?

    Hello,

Sorry about the wait, could you please let me know if this is accurate still?

    Thank you!

    Hello
I had the exact same problem as OP, and after debugging the plugin, I found out Google returns the error “Caller does not have storage.buckets.get access to bucket <xxx>.”

It seems they changed permission handling, or something else is at play, but I had to do one additional step for this plugin to work:

    1) In the bucket management screen, choose “Edit bucket permission” and add new entity with Owner permission and that service email. Only then can the service access the bucket.

I’m having the exact same issue but psedik’s solution isn’t helping… Any ideas – have google changed their permissions system or something the last few weeks?

    Thanks a lot @psedik.Working perfect!

First i got it wrong.Later, in the Bucket permissions,When we add permission for User, we need to add permission as Writer

If you are still having trouble, try the manual setup instructions I put together on the WP-Stateless Wiki at https://github.com/wpCloud/wp-stateless/wiki/Manual-Setup
