    Hi @manojpj,

The default country selection for the smart card fields is determined by PayPal and depends on a few factors.
For example, the language code in eventual PayPal cookies on your device, your browser/system language, or your current location.

As an alternative, with the PayPal Card Processing (if available in your region), buyers only need to provide the credit card number, expiry, and card code to confirm the payment. There is no need for any additional billing information or even PayPal account login.
This would be the best way to prevent users from having to provide additional information in the first place.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

How can I disable the address fields?

    Hi @manojpj,

The plugin can’t influence the behavior of the standard card fields. PayPal either requests only the card details with no address, card details with address, or card details and a PayPal account. This depends on a couple of factors all of which are beyond what the plugin has an impact on.
But if you are operating from a supported region, then enabling the PayPal Card Processing would remove the need for users to provide any information beyond the credit card details themself: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/advanced/#link-eligibility
Beyond no requirement for additional address details, the advanced credit and debit card payments provide additional features like Vaulting and lower processing fees compared to the PayPal-branded credit card checkout with the smart buttons.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
