I’ve came across this issue MONTHS ago and it was driving me crazy, even swapped some sites to another plugin and I am glad I was not the only one with this issue.

My setup involves usage of WP Rocket. In other words, this plugin does not play nicely with cached websites at all, even if you compress only styles and avoid touching js scripts.

So many problems for a wide variety of clients from a plugin where you would expect that basic things like ‘add to cart’ event works flawlessly, since it’s pretty easy to check.

On top of that, smaller hotfixes comes out with lines like “fixed bugs” – what bugs? how can this plugin be trusted to work where it needs to work after so many broken releases and obfuscated changelogs where you are left guessing whether it was major or minor bug fix.

I would advise people to be very careful when chosing to use this plugin for their ecommerce projects, because don’t get me wrong, this plugin could be great, if it was looked after better and current functionality would be flawless, before incorporating new features with their own issues, and it is OK for non-ecommerce websites, but for ecommerce I’ve had plenty of issues which majority stem from ‘add to cart’ and ‘purchase’ events (two most important ones) not working well (and I’ve tried tens or hundreds of times to adjust everything, tweak code, etc, aka not just surface level changes).
