• Classic bait-and-switch. MyCalendar may be good, and it may even integrate well with the MyTickets plug-in, but I’ll never know, because I am sure as hell not going to pay $25 for the documentation to find out if the thing does what I need it to.

What an incredibly stupid and ill-thought revenue model.

On the upside, I now know to carefully avoid any and all products from this developer.

Well, I’m sorry you feel that way. I fail to see how this is in any way a bait and switch; the plug-in is easy to use, and the documentation for My Tickets is free – the only reason you’d need to purchase the documentation would be if you wanted to learn more details about how to use the plug-in. If you just want to find out whether it does what you need, you should just install it and explore.

    Best of luck.

I did download it, and MyTickets, and couldn’t get them to work together. When I tried to look up how to set them up to make sure I hadn’t missed something, all I got was “pay me $25 if you want to know anything.” Screw that. Delete. Delete.

I have used My Calendar for some time and it is great! It works well out of the box and the built-in documentation is just fine to get it working. Plus, the author is quite helpful and responsive!

And after using the calendar for some time I did buy the documentation to support the author! It is a TINY price to pay for such a great plugin and such great support! Plus it has lots of additional info on how to take the calendar even further!
