• Purchased premium version months ago. It has a glitch with it’s queries that causes any product with a product “chained” to it, via WooCommerce Chained Products plugin, to load VERY slowly. The new release of WooCommerce Wholesale Prices today didn’t address the issue. The WooCommerce Chained Products support team confirmed that they are storing data in the same formats and locations as the rest of the product listing data, i.e. their methods are not impacting WooCommerce Wholesale Prices queries for product data. Rymera / Developer of WooCommerce Wholesale Prices appears to have acknowledged the issue via support communications. They are not addressing it as as support request, rather as some sort of future update (not today’s update apparently), even after more than 8 weeks. So I guess I paid for the premium plugin for no reason.

    Hi @berobi,

Thanks for the messages, all of them, we do take your feedback seriously.

Maintaining integrations with other extensions like Chained Products is a very expensive exercise for us as a small business with limited resources.

We generally wait for a demand build up and then we go all out and tackle the integration.

With Chained Products extension, we’re aware there are some issues and it might be inconvenient.

We have this lined up for fixing on our Order Form product – it’s not an issue with this free plugin or our Prices Premium which is why you didn’t see any change here with the latest release.

    I hope that makes sense…

We maintain 4 different products and the one you’ve commented on here is just one of them (and not the one at fault).

We currently have the integration lined up for the next minor version of Order Form (1.9.0). There will be one release of Order Form before that (1.8.5) to fix some other issues first. This chained products integration will take quite a significant amount of developer and testing effort, which is why it’s on the planned minor release.

Hope this fills in the blanks for you. We aren’t ignoring the problem, it is in line for fixing as quickly as we’re able. Keep in mind this is an integration and not a bug and we’re dealing with integrating 3 different products, not a small feat.

Once we’re done with that, at that time, it would be great if you could adjust your rating ??

    Thanks in advance.

    Josh (founder)
