Could be best… But not now..

  • I’ve been using elementor for about 3 months now, and must say that this could possible be the best WordPress creator ever…

    Now to the + / –

    + Create a complete site, without hassle
    + Display different pages & backgrounds depending on category or tags.
    + Many plugins written for elementor.

    – It’s an recurring fee for the pro.
    – You’ll need the pro to customize everything.

    However, the last three months I’ve been using it, it has been at least two (2) catastrophical bugs that have been released in their updates.

    1. Googles recaptcha stopped working, and it took at least 2 weeks for them to do an update.

    2. In the latest update (today it’s 20180717), the background on the post pages stopped working, and the editor refuses to change colors to text sometimes.

    These are simply things that CAN’T be allowed to happen.. it could possible cripple a site, and therefore, they only get 2 stars (should have been 4.5)

    update 2021-01-15:

    They are still releasing bugged versions, and I’m getting tired of stuff that doesn’t work! – lowering my grade to 1!

  • Note to Elementor developers: I just discovered your plugin, and was considering purchasing, but I can’t imagine doing so if posts like this get no response for weeks (and I found at least one other that hasn’t had a reply in more than a week). Like this person, I simply can’t afford to rely on a plugin that doesn’t have extremely responsive support, especially when serious bugs are found in new releases!

    Please respond if there’s something I’m missing here, as I would love to find a plugin like this for WordPress!

    .. Well, 5 months is an acceptable delay for an answer?

    But! I must say that during those months, elementor has evolved, but I’m not yet updating to new versions before I backup the old working one..
