Costom Date Field Auto populating when empty

    Hi,
    I have set up some custom date fields for my members profiles (ie, Birthday, Membership Start Date, Parter Birthday, Wedding Anniversary).
    Only, when a user does not populate these fields, todays date (the date a user is added to the website) is put is displayed in its place.
    Is it possible to hide date fields that have not been populated?
