Yes it’s possible. There’s probably a few pluigns that can do that already. If not you’ll have to write your own. Writing your own can also be good becasue it will let you make it work exactly the way that you want it to.

But what if I can’t write plugins (php newbie).

Then you can search through the plugins here, or do a Google search to find others outside of the site here. If there’s nothing that you can find you can always pay someone to write one for you (just a note, don’t offer on here anywhere, that’s seen as commercial and not something that’s wanted on this site).
