    Hi Stripe Team,

I’ve noticed multiple errors in the console when using the Safari browser:

Blocked a frame with origin "<my website>" from accessing a frame with origin "https://js.stripe.com". Protocols, domains, and ports must match.

This issue only occurs in Safari (I have already tried clearing cookies and cache), while other browsers seem to work fine.

Is this expected behavior, or is there a potential issue on my end?

Thank you so much for your help!

    Best regards,

    David

    Hello davidbaranek,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand you’re seeing errors in Safari related to blocked frames while using Stripe.

A similar issue was reported before, and it was resolved by adjusting the browser settings.
Try going to Settings > Websites and in the Pop-Up Windows sidebar, set the option to “Allow.”

Let me know if this resolves the issue in Safari. ??

    Best regards.

    Hi David @davidbaranek,

Did you already have a chance to clear your browser after having followed the steps shared by my colleague? If not, I recommend clearing your cache to see if this makes any difference. Here are the steps to clear your browser cache.

Let us know how this goes.

    Hello davidbaranek,

    Thank you for your reply.

This is a unique case as there are not any other reports.
I suspect some device security settings are causing this issue.

To check if this is a website or device issue, please try opening the site on a different device using Safari. Let me know if the problem persists. This will help us narrow down the cause.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Hi @doublezed2,

I tried with three more colleagues’ Macs, but the same errors persist. We ensured no extensions were enabled, and cleared both cookies and cache.

    Thanks for your continued support!

    Hi again @davidbaranek,

I tried with three more colleagues’ Macs, but the same errors persist. We ensured no extensions were enabled, and cleared both cookies and cache.

I understand that even after trying out different devices, the issue persists.

As a next step, please temporarily deactivate all other plugins, leaving only WooCommerce and WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway as the active plugins, then test out to see if you’re getting any errors. Should the issue permits, also switch to a default theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four to test this even further.

    Let us know your findings.

    Hi @ckadenge,

I followed your instructions, and I think I found the cause of the issue. When I disable the WooCommerce Shipping plugin, the errors disappear, indicating a potential conflict. Since we rely on this plugin, what would you recommend as a solution?

    Hi @davidbaranek,

Thank you for sharing an update with us. As you mention having a possible conflict with WooCommerce Shipping plugin, I recommend you ensure that the plugin is fully updated to its latest version and check if the issue persists.

Should the conflict persist, please reach out under the WooCommerce Shipping plugin forum for further assistance with this. You can open a new topic here.

    I hope this helps.
