After activation of iThemes Security the whole website was blocked

  • I tried to install and activate iThemes Security 8.0.2 and after activation the whole website was blocked with 500 Internal Server Error. My webserver is on php 7.4.0-128m Safe-mode off. The wp installation is pretty new. I deactivated every other plugin and tried to activate iThemes Security again. Result err 500 !!!

    Same for me!
    I’m running my wordpress using Roots.io trellis, don’t know if has anything to do but it ruined the application, trying to boot up again…
