Corrupted Icon Stylesheet After 1.27 Update

    After I updated Forminator from version 1.26.0 to 1.27.0, I noticed that if I check a checkbox, instead of the checkmark, it showed some gibberish. I cleared all website/server/browser caches but the problem persisted. However, after I downgraded to version 1.26.0, the icons/checkboxes were showing again correctly.

    To be it looked like the icon css (content:’what-ever-icon-code’) is wrongly encoded.

    Please look into this to see if this is something that needs to be fixed.

    I hope you are doing well today.

    I was not able to replicate this issue on my lab with both of those versions. Apart from Forminator update, was there any other update on site, liek other plugins or theme? If so it could mean some conflict. Please not there is over 60,000 plugins in WP repository and thousands of themes on the market. With that there is always a risk of new conflicts (php/js/CSS).

    Would you please run a conflict test? Please deactivate all plugins except Forminator one and check if the problem is gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having a conflict. If there is no positive result, switch to the default WordPress theme like 2019, and see if it works. Before this test, we recommend full site backup or running this test on the staging site.

    Also are you able to send us the page URL where your form is located and the Forminator version is 1.27.0 so we can review code and console errors?
