• I had a number of products already set up with hundred and a bit images uploaded via WP media uploads. I loaded the plug in today because I have another 777 products to add. FTP’d images into 4 subfolders within the wp-content/uploads. Used add to server, which did let me pick up each folder, clicked file so it would select the group of images, then clicked import. Flicked for a min or two no confirmation or error messages. Did this with each of the 4 subfolder groups. Went to media to view them and no I get the boxes with a litle icon of a picture but no images display including any of the ones I orginally manually installed.

If I even go into the media folder either via media or via edit product edit featured image the name of the jpeg is there but not images and my server CPU hits 80 to 100% usuage. I checked through CPanel and all the add to server images have been copied to the uploads root folder and i can view them there. I chose the current date format on each add to server upload I did.

I have since deleted all the images copied into the root uploads folder as I can’t delete them via media.

I moved the 4 image subfolders I had out of the uploads folder and tried again using add to server but this time only selecting 100 images a time. i got a successfully added to media message after each batch of 100.

When I go into media however all i get are lots of photoboxs with a little icon that represents a photo image and no image.

What do I do as I seem to have lost all my images both pre and post add to server and just loading the WP media file is burning the heck out of my servers cpu.

I know this isn’t supported any longer but I’m really stuck on how to fix this problem even if it means having to manually reload all the images again, I’m not sure that will even work now.

I have 400 boxes showing in the media screen so 400 images but it takes half an hour just to load the little picture icons in the centre of each box at full server cpu.

Any help would be really appreciated right now as I don’t know what to do next to put things right.

    Many thanks
