Corrupt reset password link

    I want to report a bug in Advanced noCaptcha recaptcha plugin.

    Steps to reproduce :

    1. On the lost password page(plugin enabled for the page), submit the username or email-id.
    2. You receive an email with reset password link and the link contains the following string in it which causes the password reset system to fail:
      “%5Berrors5D%5Banr_error5D%5B0%5D=strongERROR/strong:%20Please%20solve%20Captcha%20correctly”.
    3. This happens even if the recaptcha is solved correctly.

  • I can confirm that this is happening on our site as well and I can recreate it using the steps mentioned above. We’ve had to disable the plugin. When we follow the steps mentioned above the error we get is “Invalid key.”

    If it helps, we are using WooCommerce for login/lost password and WP-rocket for caching and Mandrill for email. I’ve tried disabling Mandrill and WP-rocket and this does not solve the problem.

    As far as I can tell this problem is limited to the Lost Password page and has not affected our checkout pages.
