Hi, i’ve installed and tested this plugin with my site. Unfortunately, the plugin doesn’t work as excepted (with my Theme “Suffice Pro”). However, I’ve delete the plugin to continue to work with the default mnenus… but it isn’t possible!

If i try to save a menu I got a HTTP ERROR 500 so that I can’t save changes on my menus… what the hell is going on? Has the plugin destroyed my existing menus?

    Hi Frank,

If you delete the plugin then all of its code is removed from your site – the plugin makes no changes to your site code and leaves no traces once it is deleted.

The 500 error is a server error – not usually caused by code, but a misconfiguration/limitation of your server, please see this page for more information:

    https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/error-403-404-500-when-saving-menu/

(it is still relevant, even without MMM installed)

    Hi Frank,

I forgot to mention, there is also a workaround if you are waiting for your host to access your error logs.

In the mean time it is also possible to edit your menus under Appearance > Customize > Menus. This uses a different save process to the “Appearance > Menus” page which should work around the 500 error until it is fixed.

Once you discover the cause of the 500 error, it would be very helpful (to other users who run into the same issue) if you could report back here!

    Regards,
    Tom

Hi, thanks for the Infos! Server-Settings, PHP-Memory are fine…

Finally the wp-debug-mode shows my Problem – a Plugin runs out of memory which i’ve installed days before the mega Menü. Don’t know why this runs into Probleme when i save the Menü.

I’ll Setup the mega Menü again to see if If runs now without Problems…
