    Can you check the wp-snapshots folder from the WP root and see if the file is corrupt there, that is the location where its stored.

    The zip file should be fine. The issue might be that the web server is trying to change the mime type when you try to download it from the server. Your server admin might be able to help solve the issue so that it won’t convert the installer.php into a binary format when you try and download it from the user interface…
