Corrupt htaccess after backup

    Can you tell me if the plugin breaks htaccess after a db backup? That happend to me.

    Hi,

    The UpdraftPlus backup should have no effect on the .htaccess file. The backup process does not alter any of the files that it backs up.

    Could you provide more details on the error that you are encountering?

    It happened days ago, and I had to restore the htaccess file, thats all I can say. I only restored the bd and had the problem, but I have no screenshot.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay.

    UpdraftPlus does not access the WordPress root directory or .htaccess files when backing up or restoring. It appears that this may have been a coincidence in timing.
