• I’ve been working with the Make theme for a while now but still cannot seem to master the perfect banner size. I’m trying to show a larger logo on the home page so I use the banner. I create an image that’s 1144 x 450, set the section height to 450 and the image is still blurry at full size when uploaded. I’ve tried getting help on this before but it’s still unresolved. (I’ve purchased Make Plus already.) Can someone please assist me?

  • Hey there! We have dedicated support for Make Plus users in our support forum here: https://thethemefoundry.com/support/

Just to note we’re not in the free forums every day (and don’t answer questions on custom coding here…), so since you’re a Make Plus user, you’ll get MUCH better help over there. ??

And I think I replied to your ticket over there already… but in case that wasn’t you, can you post again in our Help Center? ??

tadams2: If you are using a boxed site, that resolution sounds fine. Make sure to set the banner area to 450 and make sure that your site actually allows 1144px as a width.

I make my images ridiculously wide these days and I also use the Photon module for Jetpack, which I think helps. I’ve been driven nuts by this too. Make sure to not have text drawn in your banner image — because it’ll look bad.
