Copyright Year in AMP version of translated web-site error

    Hello,

    I have an issue with translated Copyright year located in the footer of AMP version of my website. I have build it using two languages (ET and RU). Everything works and looks fine in ET version:

    ? 2024

    But when the language is switched to RU, the format of the date is not showing up correctly:

    I have been trying to make the changes in the coding using WP File Manager, but in amp folder’s footer.php file there is no code for copyright added, so I am struggling to find the correct folder where needed changes to be made.

    Hello @lenkasu

    Thank you for reaching out to us, When we checked your site and data it seemed you are using AMP plugin in Reader mode with Twenty Twenty theme.

    Which means if you change code in AMP plugin footer.php it won’t affect as that code is for legacy theme.

    You may need to look for twenty-twenty theme, but it’s the default WordPress theme with date_i18n function, which means it should automatically get translated in to Russian language (RU) when the site language is switched.

    When checking your site data, we found out that you are using You are using TranslatePress plugin.

    I tested the Twenty Twenty theme without the AMP plugin, and the problem persists when I switch to Russian. This suggests the issue lies with the TranslatePress plugin, and not with AMP. I recommend contacting their support team to resolve the problem.
