copyright dynamic year

    Hi,
    I wish to add the dynamic year in footer section. i.e.

    ? 2016 Copyright Blah blah. And wish to automatically update the year. So I used

    <?php echo date("Y"); ?> but it doesn’t show either.

    So I used “insert php” plugin but it showing the whole code. And yet when I tested on post/page, “insert php” plugin is working.

    ? [insert_php] echo date(‘Y’); [/insert_php] Copyright

    But I want to show this in footer section.
    Can you help me please?
