    How do you add a static year to the copyright date? (example: 2004-(current year)

    I’ve tried changing the footer, but the code is a bit different than what I’m used to using <?php _e('Copyright &copy; 2004-'); ?><?php echo date('Y'); ?> <?php bloginfo('name'); ?> But it’s not showing up correctly.

    Any help appreciated!

    Not sure what happened before, but try try again and it’s fine now!
    Guess I just needed more coffee.

    No worries… I live on coffee when designing themes ??

    By the way, it’s recommended that if you make core theme changes, it’s best to use a child theme so then you can get updates without losing modifications. I have one you can download for this theme here:
