• Someone else made a small table in my site and I need to copy it to other pages. How do I do that?

I tried Copy/Paste in the Edit Post screen but I only get the table data, the boundaries and colors don’t get copied.

I have the code that creates the table so presumably I need to find the appropriate page of php code and paste the table code there?

If that’s true, where do I find my pages/posts?
Do I have to download them, paste the code and then upload the new version or can I edit online somehow?

    Thanks – rev

  • I can’t be sure, but you may be able to switch to HTML editing mode to copy and paste the table.

One caution – once you switch to HTML mode for a post, don’t switch back to Visual mode or the formatting will be messed up.

Sounds good and thanks for the caution but how do you switch modes?

When you are editing a post, there are two tabs on the upper right of the edit pane.
