Copy Top Nav bar to forum

Hi

I’m trying to add my top nav bar to the top of my forum to give a bit of consistency. I’ve copied the requisite HTML output and placed that in the correct place and gathered all the CSS for the top nav that I could find/know how to implement.

Now I’m stuck with the fiddly bits. Firstly, I’m missing a </div> or something to close the HTML and stop the black bleeding underneath the forum header into the top of the body.

Secondly, I’m missing some CSS. Now I know that some of the nav CSS is inherited from the reset code right at the beginning of the style.css but I don’t know how to add the specific bits back (or even which bits to add). I think that is why the menu links are centred. FInally I’m missing the dropdown arrow and I don’t know how to add the font for the links.

Any pointers in the right direction would be great and I will continue looking at the moment. My site is here . It’s in slow development so there is nothing there, yet!
