• Hello,
    I’ve installed a wordpress in, let’s say: mysite.com/1 directory.
Then when finished, i’ve copied it to the main root: mysite.com
Since the menus where not functioning, i’ve changed in Options the WordPress URL and Website URL from mysite.com/1 to mysite.com.
The website is functioning but i can’t enter in the Administration Panel in wp-admin.
    How can i solve this?
    Thanks

  • You first need to go to cPanel and be certain your domain is assigned to its actual location. After that, you *might* have to use some temporary code either in your wp-config.php file or your theme’s functions.php to update your database with the changed URL.

    Ok, i’ll try that.
    Thanks

If you are moving the entire site from a sub-directory install to root, you need to remove the references to the sub-directory from your database.
