Copy replaced by error message!

    Hello! I checked my journal (https://www.plpfilms.com/journal) for the first time in a little while with the intent to update it, and I found that every bit of copy from the journal had been replaced by this error:

    Warning: preg_replace_callback() [function.preg-replace-callback]: Unknown modifier ‘|’ in /home/moorhead/public_html/journal/wp-content/plugins/markdown.php on line 827

    My titles and main design are intact. I don’t really know why this is happening at all; I didn’t change anything in my journal recently. Thanks for your help!

  • Maybe your host updated something that caused the problem.

    The markdown plugin looks to be ‘causing the problem’ so might deactivate that to see if the error goes away.

    Of course there is a chance one for more of the WordPress files got corrupted–that would require a reupload of the files.
