    Hey folks,

I love the “Enable Copy Protection” feature (it can be found under Miscellaneous) but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to work on mobile devices (I tested using Chrome and Safari on an iPhone 11).

Does anyone know how to enable this feature for all devices or is it a bug?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Alexander

Hi Alexander, were you logged in while testing this feature. Have you tested this on a laptop or desktop. Can you test if this feature works in an Android phone.

Have you also cleared the cache in your iPone browsers?

    Thank you

    Thanks for the quick response.

I always test in private-browsing mode (so I am not logged in and the cache shouldn’t be causing the problem) and I could replicate the issue in Safari, Chrome and Firefox (all on macOS) as well as Safari (iOS) and Chrome (iOS and Android) on four different phones (three iPhones, one Android device).

Strangely though, when I do the check on mobile devices, the feature works occasionally, but most of the time (like now), it does not, which is inconsistent behavior.

A colleague further pointed out that she could take screen shots of the websites on her Android tablet about an hour ago but this somehow stopped working.

One of the affected websites is [myfullname] [dot] [com] if that helps.

Would you please be so kind to look into this?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Cheers,
    A.

Thank you for providing more information.

Is it possible for you to do a plugin/theme conflict test? First I would suggest testing one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Nineteen to see if it is your theme conflicting with our plugin. If that did not work, then I would carry out a plugin conflict test.

I also found the following issues using Web Developer in Firefox.

I am sorry but I currently do not have the resources for that.

Would you please be so kind to remove the personal information about me from your last response? I would really appreciate that.

@mbrsolution – In the future, please don’t post data like that.

The fact that @alexanderweis put their URL in a somewhat hidden manner should be a clue that they didn’t want personal information easily findable by search engines. We’ve removed the entire log you posted.
