Copy Protected site – but how?

  • Hello, one of my sites is copy protected but I can’t figure out how. Would like to remove the protection. I checked my plugins but did not see anything that would be causing it there.

    Is it possible my host (Rackspace) would be the cause?

  • How exactly is it “copy protected”? I’ve tried to copy a few things from the site, and I can get pretty much anything from there easily.

    I guess the main thing is that am not able to highlight and copy any text. Grabbing images is doable I see now, but are you able to grab text as well?

    I’m using a Macbook running bootcamp. Some of the company employees using PCs also weren’t able to grab any text.

    I have other very similar WP sites built from the same theme that don’t display this behavior, so it seems strange.

    I could get the text by doing a seelct-all and copy. Trying to get it by itself didn’t work.

    This is a time when you’ll need to ask the themes authors/vendors about that.
