copy paste text to editor

  • Lately i cant copy paste text to editor on visual mode – since i see that when i do that i get a <div style=”dispaly:none”>
    I can only copy pate to text mode….
    It happens only on this theme and not on other themes…..

    any idea?

  • I would think that’s because of the source where you copy from: all kinds of stuff gets copied, not just text.
    If you have a normal editor, such as notepad++ but notepad would suffice as well, you could paste it in there first, then copy it from there – thus loosing any formatting, such as that display:none style info.
    If that display:none style info still happens, you have a problem with a plugin or your WP install is corrupt: update all plugins, theme-files and wordpress install in that case.
