• First-time user. I’ve set up my company website using a wp template but noticed it has been set up as a blog website. In Google search, it shows the date of the last post which I don’t like as i won’t be posting much.

I want to change it to a static page.

I discovered how to change the settings to Static Page (Dashboard -> Appearances -> Customise -> Home Page Settings)

But I need to create a new page, so I created a blank page.

How do I copy and paste all my content from the blog home page to the new page?

I found a copy all blocks under tools when editing the blog home page where all my content is. This appears to copy the code, but how can I paste this on to the blank page? Or is there another way?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi

After using the “copy all blocks” option, you can paste the blocks directly into another page using default commands on your computer.

Place your cursor in the first empty block. ( Where it says ” Type / to choose a block” )

    Press Command + v on a Mac or Control + v on a PC.

You can also use right click with your mouse or pad and select “Paste”.

This should work out of the box, but you can also try the following:
    Use “Copy all blocks”.
In the new page, open the code editor mode.
    Paste the blocks.
Close the code editor to see the visual preview of your blocks in the editor.
