Copy menu from one website to another

  • I wish to create a copy of the menu on my new website, but I don’t need the rest of the website content. What is the most simple way to configure the same menu on another location if I don’t need to make a full backup?

    Hi Juan,

    There’s nothing built into the plugin to help with this. The problem is your current menu references IDs that may only be available on your staging site. As soon as you import it to another site, the items may no longer link to the correct place or reference data that does not exist. There are a few Menu Import/Export plugins you can try – they are in the plugin directory. Otherwise it is best to import/export a full backup.
