    Hi:
I have a site on bluehost and want to ‘duplicate’ it on my local server (XAMPP, PC based).
The bluehost site has a site-prefix of Xyz_.
I have also used astra, astra-pro, elementor, elementor-pro and wpforo to build the site.
When I have attempted to move the site using UpdraftPlus I have run into many issues.
    – url’s not updated
    – database file names appear as xyz_ with no uppercase letters
    – redirects have not worked well
Will Duplicator or Duplicator-Pro take care of all these issues?

    Thanks in advance,

    Bob

  • Hey @redrockbob

Thanks for the feedback! It would all depend on how the site was set up if the URLs are hard-coded into the files then Duplicator does not search through PHP but if it’s in the database it should work. I would give the free version a try, it’s a pretty quick process.

If you run into issues feel free to submit a support ticket for this issue we can have a closer look at your setup. Please provide a link to this forum thread when submitting the ticket.

    Cheers~
