Copy and paste won’t work in Vusual Editor

  • Being a long time I have been experiencing this, copy and paste won’t work in the classic editor, it won’t work in Visual editor.

    On the text editor, if I paste there without clicking on publish button first, and click on Visual, the text copied won’t show up, I will have to paste again in the text editor and click publish that is when I can see it in the visual editor.

    Sounds like “interference” on the old Edit Post screen (accessed by using Classic Editor) by a plugin that may not be expecting it. Could also be some browser extension although pretty slim chance.
