Copy adverts from other my site.

  • Hi Greg. I have other site where adverts published in simply WP posts form. Is it any automatic way to copy photos from it (from post content), in my new site, in WP Adverts form?

    Hi,
    is your form saving the submission as some custom post types? If it does then you can quickly convert all submissions by changing directly in the database their post_type to ‘advert’.

    That being said if you would like the images in the content to be used in the gallery then some manual work will be required to add them to the gallery (if the images are not saved as attachments), additionally some custom meta fields might need to be renamed for example if you are storing a price in a field named differently than “adverts_price”.

    In other words if you have the submissions saved as CPTs then you can convert them quickly to Adverts but some data might be lost, to have them fully converted some custom programming might be needed.

    Thanks, and do you know any plugin like WP Scraper(it works only with posts), that will copy images, (and title) and will work with WP Adverts too? (Or any way to adapt WP Scraper to WP Adverts)

    sorry, i am not really aware of any plugin that would do this.
