Coppermine

  • Hi,
    is anyone working on a Coppermine integration with WordPress? If not I will give it a shot…
    What I want to do is show the images of a coppmine album as a single post in WordPress. Maybe show a single image in a “normal” post.
    I am open for suggestions, so feel free.

    (or anyone who can help me with Lennart’s hack). I love this hack but am having some problems getting it to work for me. First, I can’t get the cpg_image and the cpg_random commands to work at all. Nothing shows up in the entry. I can get the cpg_album command to work but when I click on an image i get a “this page does not exist” error. Here is a link to my page: https://www.pappergank.com/ms/blacksheep/.

    Okay, I figured out what was wrong…It is an issue with Coppermine. For some reason, coppermine wasn’t creating “Normal” images for some of my pictures. I think if they are smaller than a certain size it doesn’t make “normal” images. Lennart’s hack points to images with “normal_” before the image name. So if there are no “normal” images then the image, of course, doesn’t exist. Hence the “file not found” error. It’s easily fixed by uploading images that can be normalized by Copppermine.
