Coppermine, Galleries, anyone?

    This has probably been worked to death but I’m interested to see if I’ll come across something new in this post, if the question irritates you then ignore the thread and move along.

    I’ve had a look at a couple galleries now and I’m not sure if I’d be dead set on integrating the gallery to my WP blog, having them share the same registration info would be nice though.

    Anyway, my question is, has anyone had any problems customizing/integrating coppermine?

    I want to use coppermine but I’m somewhat hesitant because the site throws me off with documentation, I have to make my own custom theme or I wouldn’t be interested in using it.

    Care to share coppermine woes and tribulations?

    If there’s a gallery solution that’s worked great for you I’d like to hear about it! Please include why you’ve settled on it in the reply.

    Oh and if you know of an online community that revolves around gallery solutions tell me about it.

  • you should be able to integrate simplegal, coppermine or gallery2 with your WP site with equal ease, depending on your requirements. Coppermine out of the box offers the ‘bridging’ module if you wish to use a single sign on.

    you could also take a look at the wp-plugins area, there are a couple of gallery plugins available (although most of those won’t likely fit your needs since they’re simply not as powerful as something like coppermine).
