    Looked for an answer…none found:
Problem: moved from localhost to production domain and ALL links were copied over with ‘LOCALHOST’ SO i WAS GETTING REDIRECTED…Sooooo

went into database and changed wp_options to correct domain and now I can at least login to see that ALL the Permlinks are https://<em>localhost</em>/my.domain.etc…so weird..’LOCALHOST’ should not be there?! I don’t think WP will let me just omit those but I’ll try it in the meantime.

LOVE THIS PLUGIN..used several times with perfection so I’m head-scratin’..thx in advance

  • Hey oblivius,

I would definitely try the process again. If you continue to keep getting the same results, then you can submit a support ticket…

    Cheers~

OK..I have tried again since and also forgot to mention…I’m using WooCommerce plugin with “Superstore” Woo theme…IF that matters. The same result when tried again. I will switch themes and deactivate the WC plugin and see if that changes things. I will submit a ticket either way..THX again !

    OK sorry Mr. life,
I just tried your plugin on my other site..went from local to live host..WORKED LIKE A CHARM..
When running the deployment on the “corrupt” site..After I fill in the DB values (ie USER, HOST etc.) the progress “meter” runs then trips to a parse error. It literally duplicates the active theme folder (and child) and places them above the “themes” folder. Then the functions.php file is created with “white space” which is fixable but all this is very strange. I’ve disabled almost all plugins to see if that would help but not yet. As above, changing the active theme did not differ. The only plugin I did not delete during my last try was WooCommerce. I’m reluctant to do that because I do not want to lose product data etc. I guess it’s been narrowed down to the WC plugin (still a guess)..OK I look forward to your suggestions and will wait till then.,..

    Hi oblivius,

I think at this point you may have to hire a programmer to look into the issue. There could be a number of issues and sometimes these issues can only be fixed debugging and troubleshooting the various aspects of your setup…

Probably not the exact answer your looking for, but these issues can take hours to pin-point and some issues are beyond the forum and the basic free support…

    Cheers~
