Cool plugin that works

  • This plugin has served its purpose for my needs on a 1-pager type of website. It works great for YouTube playlists feeding through a carousel touch-friendly swiper with many videos. I set my videos to open in a lightbox. It allows multiple shortcode instances and video feeds on the same page which is awesome. There are many other sweet features, but my favorite is the automatic cache updates every 30 minutes or longer intervals if you want.

    Automatically clearing the cache every 30 minutes keeps me from having to manually clear the server cache when the video guys add a new video to YouTube. Using WP Engine’s super sticky cache, I tend to clear the cache a lot for my co-workers, so this is a great feature!

    The only minor issue I had was resolved quickly with a support email that contained clear instructions on how to fix. I am using the pro plugin on two important websites that I maintain. I would recommend the pro version if you want a nearly plug-n-play YouTube video feed solution with many customization options for WordPress.
