We just moved over to using Google Tag Manager to run all cookies and cookie consent.

In GTM debug the cookie banner is displaying, but on the live website cookie consent bar is not showing.

We’re using the CookieYes template in GTM, and have checked/double checked the website key is entered as per the instructions provided by CookieYes.

The web dev has removed the wordpress plugin, and removed additional code relating to cookies.

    Hi @kachimarketing,

    Greetings from CookieYes!

Could you please confirm whether this issue is still there on your site? As we checked, we could find the banner active on your site.

aah yes a late night fix of a rogue { in part of the coding was a winner.

But we are experiencing two further problems you might be able to help with.

    1. the inability to have functional cookies as an option on the preferences (I have it on other cookieyes banners but this one has obviously been amended by a previous agency and I can’t locate a setting for it). Right now if a user switches off advertising, it’s switching off functional.
    2. the cookieyes consent log isn’t updating

if you’re able to help with either of these?

    Hi @kachimarketing,

As we checked, there are no cookies present in the functional category in the Cookie list and hence, the toggle is not appearing against the functional category. If you have functional cookies added in the advertisement category, you may move them to the functional category.
You may find the consent logs by accessing the Consent Log tab against your site in the CookieYes WebApp account.

Perfect thank you for your assistance. The cookie log hadn’t been populating, but started this morning, so I guess it just needed some time following the switch over to catch up.
