• My problem is that I want the privacy policy link just a simple link in my text, not a button. So I turned off the privacy policy link and placed an anchor link at the end of my text. But after saving, the [cookies_policy_link] shortcode always appears at the end of my text. Screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/m6kZQsq

  • Same problem here.

UPDATE: You need to remove it manually (you can see the shortcode in the message text).

I removed it manually, then clicked save, then the shortcode reappeared again.

    Hello,

I have the same issue as @djviolin , even when I remove manually the shortcode, it keeps reappearing, anybody managed to solve this issue?

Same here. For the time being I went back to version 1.2.48, which appears to not have that problem.

    Cheers, Stefan

I asked this in the official support forum also: LINK

I was only able to hide with this CSS hack:

    <span class="hidden">[cookies_policy_link]</span>

Strangely enough, this stays untouched after save. If I change the shortcode to [cookies_policy_link2] for example, that’s also stays the same after save.
