    Hi there,
He just add a popup on our bilingual site. We use WPML for translation. My question is : if a user arrive on the french side (see the popup) and then switch to english, will they see the popup in their language ?

I would like to know how we can acheive that.

    Thx,
    Marie

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching here…

Our plugin creation is custom post type so you can use WPML in multiple languages.

Please check and let me know if you have anything else.

    Thanks,

    Hi there,
Thx for the reply. I know how to use your plugin with WPML. My question is about the cookies on both language.

We set a 1 day cookie duration.

If a user arrive on the french, see the popup in french, switch to englis, will he see the english popup or not ?

    Thx,
    Marie

    Hi @marie911

Thanks for your reply. Actually we have not tested our plugin with WPML.

As far as I know, WPML works with custom post type so you created the same page and popup in two different language. Means you will have different IDs for popup one for English and other is for French.

You just need to add respective shortcode in respective language content.

As there is a different IDs for popup so cookie will be separately created for both language popup.
