• Hi, the GTM4WP plugin includes in the head section of the website on which it’s installed the script with source: https://www.youtube.com/iframe_api, even if the experimental features about media events (as YouTube video events) are not enabled.

This youtube script causes the injections of the VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE and YSC cookies, which are NOT GDPR compliant.

The plugin developer should block the inclusion of this script at least when the experimental features about media events are disabled.
Otherwise it isn’t possible to block these cookies, therefore the plugin is not compliant with the GDPR

  • if you use a gdpr extension, you can probably block it.

You have never blocked a third-party cookie injected by a plugin script, haven’t you?
It’s not as simple as you describe, my friend.

If I don’t need active the YouTube experimental options the GTM4WP plugin must not include a script that I don’t need to use.
