    Hi @gramenauer,

What are your settings under “URL modifications” in Polylang?

See this article for more information: https://complianz.io/translate-legal-documents-to-multiple-languages-with-polylang/

    Hi, Aert

Thank you very much for your reply. Here you can see my “URL modifications” settings:
    https://selectmortgagespain.com/captura1/

I have read the article you suggested, and I have seen there is only 1 string to be translated in “complianz” group:
    https://selectmortgagespain.com/captura2/

Just to confirm, I have all my translations updated

Thanks again for your help and best regards,

    Hi @gramenauer, Antonio,

It works when you add the language code in the URL: https://vierzeventwee.sites.qsandbox.com/es/cookie-policy-es/ (pw:000)

Which is the settings under URL modifications; The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks

If you can’t change the URL setting, you can try to switch the default language to Spanish. This way the untranslated strings default to English.

    Hi, Aert

Thank you very much again, I added the language code and it works! Just one thing: there is a minor issue related to date texts in the first and last sentences of cookies policy:

English version: This cookie statement was last updated on 17 de August de 2020 and applies to citizens of the European Economic Area. (“17 de August de 2020” instead of August 17th…)
Spanish version: Esta política de cookies ha sido actualizada por última vez el 17 de August de 2020 y se aplica a los ciudadanos del Espacio Económico Europeo. (17 de August de 2020 instead of 17 de Agosto)

Regarding the other question (there is only 1 string to be translated in “complianz” group), how could I fix it?

    Best regards,

    Antonio

    Hi @gramenauer,

For the 1 string in string translation, please save your cookie banner settings and try again.

This is the string for the date:

Esta política de cookies ha sido actualizada por última vez el %s y se aplica a los ciudadanos del Espacio Económico Europeo.

The %s in this string will be replaced bu the date format used by your WordPress installation. You can change this under Settings – General. I guess this is translated by WordPress itself, so maybe you can find it in Polylang as well.

    regards Aert
