    I just read this article on your website about GDPR https://oceanwp.org/make-site-gdpr-compliant/. First off thanks a lot for the article it’s a great ressource.

    I been reading your privacy policy and have a question on the cookies section. I’m using the Ocean WP Theme. Can I safely assume that the cookie storage times are the same on my website as described in your privacy policy or is that not theme dependant? Or is it possible to somewhere check what cookies will be stored and for how long?

    Hello, no, the cookies are probably not the same on your site, it is if you use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, ads, etc…

    Hi thanks a lot for the answer. I no that’s not really about the ocean wp theme now, but is there some option in wordpress that shows or where you can set how long cookies are stored? Or is that something that needs to be looked up seperately for every plugin etc which store cookies?

    If you don’t know what cookies are in your site, that probably means you just have the WordPress cookies ??
    So by displaying a simple cookie notice, it will be good.
