    Hi,

I am trying to understand some cookies in miscellaneous and if they are functional or not.

    ate_widget_fetch_time
    ate_widget_url
    e_document/global
    continueReview

These cookies appear in my website and when i google them they appear in other wordpress sites using your plugin.

Are they yours? Could you help me determine their function?

    Hi @fedlab

Both the “ate” items are placed by WPML, but as it seems they only get set if you use the Advanced Translation Editor. This means your visitors do not see them, and therefore there is no need to mention them on your cookie policy. We will update cookiedatabase.org later today.

For e_document and ContinueReview we have to do some research: can you tell me if you use one of the following plugins on your site:

    worker/init.php
    WebCompliancePro/WebCompliancePro.php
    antispam-bee/antispam_bee.php
    astra-addon/astra-addon.php
    astra-pro-sites/astra-pro-sites.php
    astra-widgets/astra-widgets.php
    classic-editor/classic-editor.php
    custom-css-js/custom-css-js.php
    duplicate-post/duplicate-post.php
    easy-google-fonts/easy-google-fonts.php
    elementor-pro/elementor-pro.php
    elementor/elementor.php
    enable-media-replace/enable-media-replace.php
    filebird/filebird.php
    formidable/formidable.php
    google-analytics-premium/googleanalytics-premium.php
    pretty-link/pretty-link.php
    redirection/redirection.php
    related-rss/related-rss.php
    sg-cachepress/sg-cachepress.php
    sidebar-manager/sidebar-manager.php
    svg-support/svg-support.php
    ultimate-addons-for-gutenberg/ultimate-addons-for-gutenberg.php
    ultimate-elementor/ultimate-elementor.php
    wordfence/wordfence.php

    Hi @fedlab

    ate_widget_fetch_time
    ate_widget_url
    and
    e_document-global

have all been updated on cookiedatabase. You can delete them from your cookie policy because we think that they are not being placed on your visitor’s device.

For continueReview we still need to do some extra research and ask the community if they know where it comes from. A quick scan suggests it comes from a review plugin, probably Elementor based, but at this moment in time, we do not have any extra information or sources.

At this moment we can not find any more info about ContinueReview.
Do you know if it is placed front end as a cookie or local storage?
