Cookies are blocked or not supported …

    I’m getting this error when logging in:
    “Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.”

    I see it was an issue with several forum posts 1 year ago:

    I couldn’t find a plugin causing the problem so I commented the testcookie lines suggested in that post, although the code has changed and its now lines 776-779.

    Is anyone else having this issue? I hate to leave that commented code as I’ll have to redo it after every wp update.

    Btw: I’m using the Lockdown WP Admin app to hide the login page. However, I was using another plugin to do the same for about a year and this just started as an issue a few days ago. Nothing else has changed except WP and plugin updates as they appear.
