    Hi there,

I am testing the plugin and tried importing a standalone site into a multisite to become a sub site but now get:

“Error: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.”

Have tried all the usual like deleting cookies, clearing cache, editing WPconfig, different browser, etc. with no luck

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi Saffa,
Thanks for using Prime Mover plugin! This problem is unusual since we don’t experience this one while testing in different multi-site configurations in different hosts.
However, can you please try the following tips (if you still have not tried it):

    1. If your multisite uses subdomain configuration try adding:
      define( 'COOKIE_DOMAIN', $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] ); to your wp-config.php
    2. Clear your browser history again.
    3. Go to your site /wp-admin/ URL and login.
    4. Try to login using your email address as your username and see if it works.

Also one thing you need to know – since you migrated a standalone to multisite subsite – your multisite now uses new plugins (from your single site) that might be incompatible with multisite resulting to that cookie related issues.

If this is the case, you can try to deactivating each new plugins introduced in your multisite, clear cache again and see if the issue is resolved. If you cannot access WordPress admin you can try this tip. Simply deactivate each new plugin introduced to your subsite to rule out possible incompatibility issues.

If you want us to get involved in this troubleshooting, we are happy to help -simply contact us via WordPress admin -> Prime Mover -> Contact Us and provide details of your site for us to troubleshoot or you can contact us here. Thanks!

Thanks for that but I had already tried that.
The Multisite uses domain mapping if that helps.

As for the plugins, the origin site and multisite have the same plugins and themes.

The pre existing sub sites in the multisite still work fine, it is just the new one with the problem.

    Hi Saffa,
Thanks for the update. Regarding domain mapping, there will be several possible causes (server related, configuration related, etc.).

Some good suggestions on fixing this can be found: on this thread. And also this one.

Please try each of them to see if it works. If it does not work and you still need assistance, please submit official bug report to us via Prime Mover -> Contact Us -> Then click “Bug” as the contact us type. Fill in all the details required for us to troubleshoot and we will prioritize this one tomorrow morning (support time zone is GMT + 8).
