• Hi,
I have an issue with the plugin and cookiebot. I added the cookiebot scripts manually, without plugin.
The pixel your site plugin in the consent tab could not detect the plugin however if I open the section I can see that is enabled. I mean that the setting “Enable Cookiebot integration ” is ON.

My main issue is that the FB and Google cookies loading via your plugin do not autoblock as supposed to.
Does pixel your site plugin work only cookiebot plugin and not manual integration?

I don’t want to install cookiebot plugin I would love to avoid that.

NOTE, I have a pro version of the pixel on your site.

    Hello,

I don’t have a definitive answer because developers of consent solutions such as Cookiebot can use various ways to block scripts or cookies like ours. So it’s best you ask them directly.

Our support for Cookiebot is limited to their plugin, so a manual script configuration will not work as expected.

I have set up Google Analytics with Pixelyour site. Your plugin has a setting for Cookiebot, so your plugin must block it with the help of Cookiebot. I will also email them, but I think the issue is with the Pixelyoursite plugin.

    Thanks in advance

You mentioned adding Cookiebot scripts manually. We don’t have support for such an approach. But again, this is not a definitive answer. Cookiebot has ways to block scripts independent of our own integration. They can detect scripts on their own, or use our dedicated filters to control them.

So, while manually added Coockiebot scripts are not supported by us, it doesn’t necessarily mean that Cookiebot can’t detect them. This needs clarified by their team.

Hello, i installed the cookiebot plugin.
But the issue still remains. In the cookie bot report says that many pys cookies are not blocked until accteped by user. Also google and FB cookies that are added by pys plugin are not blocked until accepted by user as NO.

    How i can solve this?
    Thanks in advance.

I can’t replicate this issue on our end. Please make sure you clear all caches, and test in an incognito window.

I can’t be sure, but it’s probably necessary to remove the previously added code related to the manual implementation.
