If you manually insert the header code it will break Elementor Pro. That is, you will be unable to use the page editor.

If you use the WordPress plugin it will do the same.

However, this problem is resolved if you select Manual, and not Auto, for the cookie blocking mode in the WordPress CookieBot settings.

  • @tttom I have the same problem, how did you resolved it?

    Hello @xenusm

Please update your plugin and test if the issue still persist.

Let me know how it goes.

It’s freshly installed, so it is updated

What is the name of your domain?

novelmushrooms.ro I have disabled the cookiebot plugin because I can’t let it block elementor, if I do that my products wouldn’t have images.

We have just released a new version of the plugin that specifically has tweaks to elementor compatability.

I have version 3.5.0. I can not put elementor in necessary, it puts elementor to unclassified cookie. I resolved the problem by putting Cookie-blocking mode to manual, if I use automatic it blocks elementor.

    Hello Xenusm.

That seems like a strange behaviour.

I checked your website and currently you have several instances of Cookiebot active.

In your source code, line 100, please delete the Cookiebot script. The two might interfere with each other, causing issues with your banner.
